Memorial Day Commemoration
A tribute to soldiers from Fort McAllister will be held at Fort McAllister State Park. Experience the thrill of the musket and cannon firings, as well as Civil War reenactments and living history interpretations. You can visit this park to help pay tribute to patriots who died while serving in the US military. You can also tour the fort, museum, and grounds of Fort McAllister along the banks of the Ogeechee River.

Crawl of the South
Savannah has nearly broken the Guinness Book of World Records status for the largest pub crawl in the world. For now, they can certainly tout themselves as the largest in the south. Bar Crawl tickets include free cover and drink specials at each of the following locations in the biggest bar crawl the south has ever seen. At check-in, you’ll receive a bar crawl-themed koozie and a scorecard.

War of Jenkins' Ear at Wormsloe Historic Site
Wormsloe is the oldest structure in Savannah, once being the colonial estate of Noble Jones, one of the first settlers from England in the early 1700s. A museum and actors take guests back in time to the early settlement days. You can learn about the War of Jenkins’ Ear and Georgia’s role in the 1739-1748 war between Britain and Spain. There will also be a presentation about the conflict at the Visitors Center while military drills and black powder weapons demonstrations are held throughout the day.

Tea in the Garden
Built in 1820, the federal-style Davenport House is now a preserved piece of history. Actors are situated throughout the home to transact the era as guests are guided through. Beginning in April and extending through Memorial Day, Tea in the Garden will be hosted in the home’s courtyard. Experience traditional tea time from the early 19th century while soaking in the historic atmosphere.

Spring into Art
At the Tybee Arts Building, The Tybee Arts Association will be displaying and selling a vibrant array of local art. Expect to see driftwood sculptures, crafted stained glass pieces, paintings, and statement furniture. The Annual Spring Into Art Exhibition provides visual artists of all skill levels an open invitation to participate in this exciting art exhibition.
