Maine is for lovers—the mountainous landscape paired with the blue ocean and the impeccable inland scenery create the perfect romantic backdrop. The state’s lodging scene is also quite unique and personalized—you’ll find lots of cottage-style inns and New England coastal bed and breakfasts, both of which are perfect for couples’ getaways. It can be hard to choose because an abundance of resorts and hotels are simply dreamy, but these are our favorite couple’s lodging options in “Vacationland.”
