A Nightmare on Congress Street, Savannah
Kicking off at The Rail Pub is Savannah’s booziest Halloween party. A costume contest wielding a $2,000 prize coincides with the “at your own pace” bar crawl, which leads through some of Savannah’s best bars. Participants get access to drink specials, ultimately ending up at the after-party— the first 250 ghouls to finish receive an official t-shirt. Scorecards get checked off regardless of whether the crawler is drinking or not.

Halloween in the Highlands, Atlanta
Sorry, kids, this block party is for those of drinking age. Basically, guests purchase a wristband and mingle through participating restaurants for free or discounted booze and food. Dance to live music and come dressed to win the costume contest. Tickets include free admission to over ten establishments in addition to other perks like complimentary shots and special food and drink offerings.

Brick-or-Treat - LEGOLAND Discovery Center, Atlanta
LEGOLAND celebrates Halloween with its Brick-or-Treat extravaganza every year. Pumpkins made from blocks, Bonesy, the Halloween mascot, and lots of costumes turn Atlanta’s LEGO paradise into every kid’s trick-or-treating dream.

Thriller Parade and Halloween Street Party, Macon
Over 100 zombies hit the streets dancing for Macon’s annual Thriller Parade, which is brought to life by the Hayiya Dance Theater. Anyone can become a part of the undead dance crew. Rehearsals are open to everyone and are held every Thursday in October from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Tattnall Square Park. The 13th Annual Thriller Parade to include an all-new Zombie 5K Race & Fun Run, Children’s Literacy Nook and more! The big event is on Cherry Street Plaza in Downtown Macon.

Little 5 Points Halloween Festival, Atlanta
Little 5 Points is an artsy neighborhood in Atlanta. So when a place like this puts on a party and parade, it will be interestingly awesome. Floats, costumes and entertainment are overall funky, a little weird and slightly risqué—unusual shops and popular restaurants reside within the colorful nook as well. It’s an all-day event, so eat, socialize and join in on the quirky fun.
