The Majestic Treehouse sits on Bolt Farm, attracting thousands of people from across the globe to experience this unique rental. In fact, many guests plan their entire trips around it.
The treehouse was featured in Season 1, Episode 7 of the new Netflix series, “The World’s Most Amazing Vacation Rentals,” which brings viewers to vacation rentals around the world through the help of three hosts: Bravo star Luis D. Ortiz along with content creators Jo Franco and Megan Batoon.
The property includes a total of four exclusive treehouses, all accommodating two guests. What also makes it unique is they were designed by NEEDTOBREATHE band member Seth Bolt who grew up on the farm. When he wasn’t touring, he was working on his dream, building the Majestic with his dad on his parents’ property in Walhalla, a small town near Greenville in the upstate area of South Carolina.
Bolt says at first it was just an escape for himself, his family and friends, and for his future bride, Tori. In fact, he designed it as his own ideal wedding venue and honeymoon retreat before he’d even met here, following the “Field of Dreams” motto, “If you build it, they will come.” Fortunately Tori was also a fan of treehouses. The pair met right after it was complete and after marrying, she left her career in television news to help run the business.
As it’s an adults-only stay, it’s ideal for romance seekers. In fact, couples can marry here and often enjoy their honeymoons in this enchanting spot too.
Of course, just about anyone would love a stay on this property with its lush scenery. Covering 40 acres, it’s filled with forest, creeks, gardens, and trails for hiking or mountain biking.
Truly a work of art, there are antique furnishings throughout, while the bedroom features a hand-painted king-size bed that looks like it came straight from a fairytale. With a wall of windows, it brings the outdoors in, feeling as if you were sleeping among the trees, all while enjoying luxurious comfort.
There’s even a vintage record player and a collection of albums to set the mood.
It includes both a/c and heating, a bathroom with a toilet and wash basin, along with an outdoor kitchen area that has a grill and pizza oven. Your host supplies organic, locally roasted coffee and you’ll even have vintage fine china.
A hot outdoor shower is just steps away. It can be enjoyed in total privacy, ideal for special romantic moments. This extraordinary award-winning treehouse is the ultimate place to “live like kings and play like kids,” as the hosts notes. It truly is a bucket-list experience you won’t soon forget.
